JARVIS BEATS AITKEN [Per United Press Association.] PALMERSTON N.. August 20. Jack Jarvis' (Eltham) scored a decisive points victory over Billy Aitken in a 12-round contest on Saturday night, the issue never really being in doubt. Features of the bout were the aggressiveness of Jarvis and the defence of Aitken. In a supporting professional contest Jackie Sharpe, of Wellington, knocked our Arnold Kitt, of Hastings, the scheduled eight-round fight finishing carlv in the second round.
