OTAGO HUNT CLUB
MEET AT GREEN ISLAND The weekly run of the Otago Hunt was held on Saturday at Green Isjand over the properties of Messrs Kerr, M’Leod, Pryde, and Thomson. Members met at the junction of the Brighton road and proceeded to Mr Kerr’s property, where the throw-off took place. At the conclusion of the hunt members were entertained at aftenoou tea at the residence of Mr and Mrs Pryde, and the acting master (Mr W. Muirhead) took the opportunity of expressing thanks io the property owners and to Mr Pryde’s family for assisting with' the refreshments. Those present included the acting master, Mr W. Muirhead, on Donegal; the huntsman, Mr R. Harvey, on Blackthorne; the whip, Mr T. Dillon, on Judy; Mrs Russell on Last Pal, Mrs D. Anderson on Colleen, Miss M. Kerr on Mystery, Miss D. Medley on Armistice, Miss E. Grant on Marquis, Miss E. Gotts on Jimmy, Miss N. Woolsey on Kim, Miss E. Anderson on Black Tractor, Miss Lawrence on Ginger. Messrs K. Russell on Peter M’Gill, T. Dickson on Rainbow, N. Green on Royal Glen. F. Hall on Satan, J. Courts on Hitler, Master F. Gorton on Mickey. A qualification hunt will bo held tomorrow at 1 at North Taieri over the properties of Messrs J. Skinner and D. Connor, The final hunt of the season will be held next Saturday at North Taieri School over the properties -of M. Vaughan, A. Y. Smellie, Dyer Bros., and E. F. Lloyd.
