WRESTLING

M'CREADY y. RUBE WRIGHT Professional wrestling had not been staged in the Albert Hall, London, for over 20 years until the British Empire champion, Earl M'Cready, wrestled there last year. In view of the interest centred ou the bout, the promoters made every effort to secure the best match possible, and their choice of an opponent for M'Cready fell upon Rube Wright, who is to meet M'Cready in the local ring next Monday night. Wright is one of the few men who can measure up to M'Cready physically, and he is said to be slightly taller than the Canadian and somewhat heavier. M'Cready won the contest in London, but Wright, who has every confidence in his own ability, is eager for another bout with M'Cready. The Albert Hall contest last year was the topic of conversation amongst the visiting matmen, nil of whom agreed that Wright is a wrestler of exceptional ability. He has just completed l a successful tour of Australia, The fact that he is meet-.

ing M'Cready so early in his New Zealand tour is evidence of the confidence which the Dominion Wrestling Union has in his ability. Eiather particulars are advertised.
