Secret police rounded up over 1,000 civilians during the week-end, and accused them of supporting 50,000 liepublican guerrillas who still are defying General Franco’s civil guards and troops in the Asturian Mountains. The police arrested 258 at Gijon and 49 at Oviedo. All will face a military tribunal on charges of aiding the enemy.
