Dear Big Brother Bill, —I have often intended to write to your page, but somehow 1 have not done so before this., 1 enjoy reading other children’s letters in. the ‘Star.’ I am 11 years old and am in Form 1. at St. Clair School. Next year I will be at Macandrew Road School, which is to be an intermediate school. My father has a fruit shop, and I help him on Fridays after school and Saturdays to deliver orders in the truck. 1 play Rugby at school and always go to Carisbrook on Saturday afternoons.
