D. Stinson is improving eaeli week. A good young player with an eye for an opening. D, Knarston and F. Earraway wont well together in the Brighton forwards. A. Marshall (Varsity) gave another sound display at right full-back. E. Stewart was tho best Varsity forward and opened up some good movements. M. Stevens, P. Gray, and D. Kennedy gave good displays to keep Otago busy. P. Walker (College 1 was a thorn in Varsity’s side and must ho considered for rep. honours. B. Lister played a fine tackling game. L. Cameron was the best forward in the game, and her chance for an Otago uniform must be considered. J. Flett played a serviceable forward game. E. Geddes was one of the best backs on the field, and she successfully held tho Varsity right wing. H. Robinson (K.) sixmo in the Kings forwards, and, though new to the position, may solve tho rep. wing problem. E. Symon gave another sound display. A. Harley played a good, unselfish forward game, and did not fail in the circle. 11. Cumberbeach was a willing worker with a good scoring shot. W. Ryan (0.) improves each Saturday. and is worthy of consideration in a trial. B. Campbell and A. .Mackie must have impressed the selector with consistently good displays. R. Morton played a serviceable tackling game, a big improvement on the previous week.
