THE FLOWER GARDEN
There are several plants that do much better in Dunedin and district _ than many other's irarts of the Dominion. These are auriculas, pansies, polyanthuses, and primulas. It seems that our climatic conditions are ideal for these interesting plants. They can all be raised from seed very easily. Auriculas make a beautiful show for many months, and by raising from seed there is always a chance of getting something new in colour, but owing to the uncertainty of the seed germinating it should be raised in a cold glasshouse or frame.
