Essex: First innings, five for 80. The match was abandoned. HAMPSHIRE v. GLOUCESTER. Hampshire: First innings, 103 (Scott four for 18, Goddard four for 36); second, 66 (Goddard eight for 36). Gloucester: First innings, six for 104 declared; second, five for 66. Gloucester won by five wickets. SOMERSET v. NOTTS. Somerset: First innings,, 186 (Gunn five for 85); second, three, for 90. Notts: First innings, 165. Somerset won on the first innings. WARWICK v. MIDDLESEX. Warwick: First innings, none for 55. The match was abandoned. DERBY v. WORCESTER.
