SNOOKER CHAMPIONSHIP The second round of the Otago amateur snooker championship was completed last evening. The results were; —E. N. Stewart beat P. Guyton 2-1; E. Hardy beat D, Marshall, 2-1 • E. Bringans beat J. Pearce, 2-1; C. Mason beat C. Proctor, 2-0. The semi-finals will be played this evening, the draw being as follows: E. N. Stewart v. E. Bringans, at Olympia, at 7 o’clock; O. Mason v. C. Proctor, at Carlton, at 8 o’clock. On Monday evening the final will be played at the Returned Soldiers’ Association rooms at 8 o’clock on the match table. R.S.A. CHAMPIONSHIP The semi-final game between A. Lindsay and L. G. Hill was played last evening, when Lindsay was the winner by 500 to 420. Lindsay compiled a 53 break by all-round billiards, and Hill’s best effort -was 41. Tho final of 750 up between E. X. Stewart and Lindsay will bo played on Tuesday, commencing at 7.30.
