Because ho did not allow “ Lofty ” Blomfield time in which to climb back into the ring after having catapulted the New Zealander through the rope’s, Paul Boesch was disqualified in the last round- Boesch attempted another drop kick after the decision was awarded to Blomfield, and he was still arguing -with the referee as he climbed out of the ring. Boesch secured a fall in the first round with a body press following three drop-kicks, and Blomiield equalised in the fifth, taking a fall with his octopus clamp.
