This discovery led to Hilda Elizabeth Cresswell, a married woman, appearing at the New Plymouth Police Court today before Mr W. H. Woodward, S.M.. charged that on May 14 she by day broke and entered the dwelling of John Franklin and stole £2O in money, three pairs' of men’s trousers, men’s underclothing, and other .clothing of a total value of £26 10s.
