ROBOT.—From miscellaneous old junk, motor car parts, screenwipers, etc., this English engineer has constructed his robot in his spare time. Under radio control, the machine walks backward or forward, sits down, smokes a pipe, and talks. It can even don its own gas mask, although why it should require a respirator is not known.
