CHRYSANTHEMUM SHOW
RAILWAY GARDENING CLUB Mil ny magnificent specimens were among'the blooms cntcfed for the Railway Gardening Club's animal chrysanthemum show yesterday. The show was again a decided success and was well .supported, even though the season has not been a good one for horticulturists. The arrangement of the exhibits served to display them at their best. The Cadbury ‘ Frv Hudson Challenge (tup for the most points in championship classes during the year was won by J. Fitzgerald, who lias been a very consistent competitor, his vegetable displays especially being a feature of the show. The following were the awards:— CHRYSANTHEMUMS. Judge: Mr K. A. Hamel. OPEN.
