POPE PIUS ENTHRONED OLD CEREMONY REVIVED (Independent Cable Service.) Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright ROME, May 18. (Received May 19, at 10 a.m.) Pope Pius was enthroned as Bishop of Rome, reviving the ceremony which has been in abeyance for 90 years. Emerging from the confines of the Vatican, he drove through thronged and beflagged streets' to the Basilica of St. John Lateran, and celebrated Pontifical Mass. Later he blessed the crowds from the balcony.
