A VARIATION OF THE ANCIENT GAME OF BOWLS was provided at the Tainui Bowling Club’s green on Saturday afternoon when a carnival, which continued on into the evening, was conducted in aid of the funds of the club. The usual sideshows were provided and a fancy dress parade was held.
