(Received February 11, at 1.30 p.m.) Applications continue to be received at tiro rate of over 3,000 daily in respect of national service organisations requiring volunteers in the Greater London area, and 31,906 applications had been received at 101 national service offices up to February 4. This figure is exclusive of applications made direct to local organisations, and does not include those received from recruits for Territorial or other auxiliary and reserve forces of tho Army.
