OTAGO ASSOCIATION A meeting of the executive of th« Otago Boxing Association « - as held on Thursday evening. There were present Messrs 11. S. Glendining (in the chair), J. 11. Glover, S. Brown, C. E. Brown, S. Paris, J. Kilmartin, W. Cockerill, W. Glengarry, 11. Fulcher,; D. Paterson, F. Paape, A. Ml Grainger, and It. Morris. ... .. Two resignations were received with regret, and although other nomination* for membership were forthcoming these could not be accepted, _as the membership was still at capacity. The Match Committee reported that articles had been signed for the FisherNorm. Jenkin contest, to be held on March 13, the contest to be over 12 thfee-minute rounds. His Majesty a Theatre had been booked for that.date. Letters received from trainers showed that several schools were already m full swing and that amateur competibion this season would be strong. The University Club reported that its first tournament would be held in the Marama Hall on March 10, and that the New Zealand University championship* would be held in the Town Hall on Easter Saturday. _ Letters were received from Clin Keefe (of Auckland), Harry Summer* (of Australia), and several other overseas boxers asking for matches under the association during the coming season.—Referred to the incoming Match Committee. _ _ v There were three nominations for th« position of secretary, and Mr J. D,Richardson was duly elected. The association has made the following awards of trophies competed for during the year;— Wres'tling Association Cup.—G. Donaldson. Dr Evans Cup.—P. Dolan..
