To remove dents in furniture that has been roughly treated, take a large piece of strong brown paper and fold it over into about six thicknesses. Then soak it thoroughly in hot water. At the same time heat an iron. Place the wet paper over the dent to be treated and press it with a hot iron until the paper is almost dry.
