RIFLE SHOOTING

TRIANGULAR MATCH Teams from the Oamaru, Dunedin, and Kiwi Defence Jlitie Clubs met on the Pelichet Bay range on Saturday afternoon to contest a three-range triangular match. The teams consisted of 14 men, the best 12 scores to count, and seven shots with two optional sighters were fired at 300yds, 500yds, and 600yds. In conjunction with the match the Oamaru and Kiwi Clubs shot for the O.K. Challenge Shield. Kiwi won the triangular match, and in so doing relieved Oamaru of the shield. The Kiwi Club’s aggregate was 1,153, and Dunedin and Oamaru drew with aggregates of 1,121 points. Adams. 11. Johnston, and A. Gillespie, for Kiwi, and by J. Benfell, for Dunedin. Details;—
