DISGRUNTLED LITIGANT APOLOGISES THREW TOMATOES AT JUDGES Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, December 21. (Received. December 22, at 1 p.m.) After writing an apology from gaol, Frank Harrison was released by the same judges he threw tomatoes at. A remission was granted on account of the approach of Christmas. [There was an astounding scene in the Court of Appeal on December 2, ■when Frank Harrison, after the rejection of his application for a new county court trial, returned to the court when the judges were departing at lunch time, and shouted: “ I want justice!” At the same time he threw eeveral tomatoes at Lord Justices Clauson and Goddard. The tomatoes missed the judges and burst against the woodwork. A spectator seized Harrison’s arm, preventing him throwing more tomatoes. The judges returned to the bench. Lord Justice Clauson said: “ We dealt with the implication to the best of mir ability.” Harrison was sentenced to six weeks’ imprisonment for contempt of court. Harrison, yelling “ There is no justice left in England!” was hustled out.]
