BOOM IN SECURITIES WAVE OF OPTIMISM IN BUSINESS Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, December 20. The Paris correspondent of _ ‘ The Times ' says securities boomed in an unprecedented manner on the Bourse. Rentes jumped to six points and profit-taking was easily absorbed. Government stocks finished-three to seven points higher. This can be ascribed to the easy passage of the Foreign Ministry appropriations, the absence of threats to France in Signor Mussolini’s speech, and businessmen’s optimism with regard to the success of M. Reynaiid s four-year plan.
