WAIKATO HOSPITAL

NEW CENTRAL BLOCK OPENED [Per United Press Association.] HAMILTON, December 20. The new central blodk at the Waikato Hospital was officially opened to-day by the Minister of Health (Hou. P. Fraser). The building, which cost £29,600, is a two-story structure with a large subway under the full length of the ground floor. ' . The entire building is constructed in reinforced concrete and embodies the latest earthquake and fire resisting principles. Adequate accommodation is provided for all departments requiring an administration centre, many of which were formerly in very cramped and inadequate quarters.
