(Received December 21, at 11 a.m.) According to a decree, sports referees and umpires are declared to be “ public officials,” aud are entitled to the greatest respect under a penalty of imprisonment. The boxer, Rafaele Celli, was sent t« gaol for six mouths for knocking out a referee who had given a decision against him.
