EMIGRES PLEDGE LOYALTY Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright PARIS, December 19. (Received December 20, at 11 a.m.) Nearly 2,000 officers and notables of the Tsarist court pledged loyalty to the Grand Duke Vladimir as the “ Tsar of all the Russias.” Former generals, who are .now taxi drivers, and former countesses, who are now domestic servants and saleswomen, cheered the duke’s declaration that “ we must return to our own country.” The duke, interviewed, denied plans to accept tne Ukrainian throne under Herr Hitler’s domination. [The Grand Duke Vladimir is the son of the Grand Duke Cyril, who became claimant to the Throne on the murder of Nicholas II._ In August, 1922, he proclaimed himself “ Guardian of the Vacant Throne of Russia.” Grand Dulse Cyril died in France on October 12. The new claimant, Vladimir, was bom in 1917 in Finland, when his father was a fugitive in that country.] __________
