EXPORT AND IMPORT LICENSES
OFFICERS EXPLAIN PROCEDURE BIG ATTENDANCE OF BUSINESSMEN [Pek United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, December 20. Detailed questions about the procedure to be followed in applying for export and import licensee under the new regulations were put to officers of the Customs Department at a meeting convened by the Wellington Chamber of Commerce. So great was the interest of the business community, that the Chamber of Commerce Hall was unable to hold all those who wished to attend, and an adjournment was made to a larger building. The president of the chamber, Mr 1’ E Pattrick, introduced the depart mental officers, Mr 11. T. G. Patrick, who spoke on. export licenses, and Mr J. P. D. Johnsen, who dealt with import licenses. Both officers answered numerous quea tions. and at the conclusion were accorded a hearty vote of thanks.
