KAITANGATA SCHOOL

CONCERT FOR HEALTH CAMP FUNDS Owing to a fresh outbreak ot measles, the usual school concert had unfortunately to be abandoned, but an energetic committee organised an entertainment in aid of the health camp funds, with the result that some £lO was netted, due largely to the splendid sale of tickets by the school children. The programme was an excellent one, and was much appreciated by a large audience. At the conclusion the chairman (Mr J. W. Fenton) expressed thanks to all who had assisted, making special mention of Mrs Gilmore, Mr Taylor (head’ master), and the school staff. The programme was: Moutli organ selections by the Bovs’ Band; solos—Miss Aitcneson, Miss N, M'Ghee, Mr K. Gilraour, Mr P. Robertson, Miss Watt, Master J. Husking, Mr Jack Healy; duet, Mrs Coulter and Mr Gilmour; recitations, Misses P. Russell and Peggy Coulter; tap dance. Mr W. M'Kinley; and three playettes by the school children. Mrs Coulter and Miss E. Aitcheson were the accompanists.
