OBITUARY

MR JOHN LOGAN The death occurred to-day of .Mr John Logan, who had been clerk of tho Taieri County since 1903. • Mr Logan took a very active part , in Mosgiel affairs, and was one of the best-known and most respected figures in the district. For more than 25 years be was secretary of the Presbyterian Church and was associated for 20 years with the local school committee as committeeman and chairman. He is survived by his wife, two sons (both resident in Christchurch), and one.daughter —Mrs Lennon, of Kenya Colony, South Africa.
