JAPAN’S WOOL IMPORTS
PROSPECTS FOR 1939 Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright TOKIO, January 16. (Received January 17, at 10 a.m.) The prospect for Japan’s importation of wool in 1939 will depend almost entirely on military and exporters' requirements, because the estimated stock carry-over into 1939 will be approximately 60,000 bales. This, which has been earmarked for domestic use, is based on Hie recent restricted consumption and will suffice to October. However, further restriction is contemplated.
