LAND MINE EXPLODES ONE BRITISH SOLDIER KILLED (Independent Cable Service.) Press Association—By'Telegraph—Copyright JERUSALEM, December 16. (Received December 17, at 10 a.m.) One British soldier was killed and four wounded when a land mine exploded under a military truck near the Nablus-Tulkarm road in the neighbourhood of yesterday’s ambush, when one Britisher was killed and three were wounded.
COMMITTED FOR TRIAL FOUR BRITISH CONSTABLES. JAFFA, December 16. (Received December 17, at l t p.m.) Four British constables were committed for trial on a charge of unjustifiably killing an Arab, who allegedly was shot dead while attempting to escape from prison.
