ROME, December 8. (Received December 9, at 10 a.m.) An additional £14,000,000 is being devoted to defence.

MOBILISATION DURING CRISIS ROME, December 8. (Received December 9, at 1.45 p.m.) The War Ministry receives £55,000 for partial army mobilisation in the September crisis and £56,000 for expenses in connection with the war in China. The Ministry of Marine gets £4,111,100 for the construction and reconstruction of warships, and the Air Ministry £166,700 for new construction. It is revealed that the decree for partial mobilisation came into force on September 26.
