ORDER TO STOP IGNORED Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright PARIS, December 8. (Received December 9, at 11 a.m.) The steamer Grand Qnevilly, despite a shot across her bows, did not heed an order by a Franco warship to stop. The French destroyer Basque; which was recently detailed for patrol duties in the Straits of Gibraltar, proceeded at full speed to the assistance of the Grand Quevilly, which was able to proceed.
