HEW BHITISH INSTITUTE IH CAIRO (British Official Wireless.) press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright RUGBY, November 29. The new British Evening Institute in Cairo is to be opened on December 1 by the British Ambassador, Sir Miles Lampson, and a similar institute in Alexandria will be opened the same day by the British Consul-General. They have been formed by the British Council in order to make English studies, for which there is an urgent demand, more easily available to students who would not normally take a university' course.
