CAVERSHAM GUIDES' CONCERT

On Tuesday evening the annua) Caversham Girl Guides’ concert, organised by Captain (Miss) Campbell, was held in the Caversham Methodist Hall. The hall was comfortably filled and the following varied and interesting programme was presented: Three 10minute plays, vocal solos by, Misses Effie Johnson and Gladys Barclay, piano solos by Mr R. Howell and Miss E. Fyfe, vocal duet by Misses Betty Seymour and Doreen Neipier (the latter also giving a tap dunce), recitations by Misses Hamilton and Marjpho Munro, a tap dance by little Billy Mason (who was encored), a Japanese dialogue by the Kowhai Patrol, song by four of the Guides, and a piaiiO duet by Misses Olive and Elice Neipier.
