SUNDAY S SURF COMPETITION NATIONAL CHAMPIONS PARTICIPATING Owing to inclement weather it was impossible to complete the four-man competition for the Sagar Cup last Sunday, and the water work was postponed until next Sunday, the heats being timed to commence at 9.30 a.m. sharp. Springford, E. Lewis, Rodgerson, Dyson, Lcckie, C. Kidd, H, Callender, Cranston, J. Durand, J. Robert. A junior practice will be held tomorrow afternoon, and the following have been selected: —C. Lawrence, P. Young, A. Raines, A. Pritchard, C. Ferguson, R. Knewstubb, Anderson, Cunningham, Ingram, Deuchrass, Myles, Buchanan, Mitchell, Adams, Patrick. Wilson, B. M'Gregor, Robinson, Humphreys, Hinds. A patrol roster is to lie instituted, and members will be advised of the dates on which they will be required to act as patrols. This co-cperntion of all members will ensure the safety of the bathing public during the week-ends, and should maintain the high standard of efficiency on the beach. 1 Surf boat training is also to be commenced shortly.
