HUGE SUM IN DEATH DUTIES Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright NEW YORK, November 23. The tax appraisal of Mr John I). Rockefeller’s estate is 26,900.000d01, nearly all stocks and bonds. Gifts made during his lifetime to various institii' tions totalled 524,890,000d01. Including gifts to his family, it is unofficially estimated that his total fortune was 1,000,000, OOOdol. Inheritance taxes claim 16,030,000d01. The income from the remainder is principally received by his granddaughter, Miss Margaret Decuevas.
