PSIME MINISTER’S ULTIMATUM FINANCIAL PROGRAMME MUST BE APPROVED Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright PARIS, November 22. M Daladier issued an ultimatum to the Chamber of Deputies Finance Committee that if the financial programme was not approved without major modifications he would postpone Mr Chamberlain’s visit, convoke the Chamber ot Deputies and the Senate on November 2t, and seek a confidence vote. The committee heard an explanation from M. I’eynaud for two hours, but it has not vet reached a decision. A Socialist motion rejecting M. Daladicr’s decrees was defeated by 20 to L-, with five abstentions. Later a motion was earned, the test of which was accepted by the Government, which was equivalent to a vote ol confidence.
