SURF LIFE SAVING

ST. GLAIR CLUB The following is the week-end training schedule for the St. Clair Surf Lifesaving Club, the results of which will form a basis for the selection of the senior and junior teams to represent the club at the national championships to be held at Auckland in February Saturday, December 3. —2 o’clock, senior six-man trials; 3, senior and junior surf race. Sunday, December 4.—10, junior sixman trials, senior resuscitation trials; 2, senior six-man trials and junior resuscitation trials. Saturday, December 10.—2, senior four-man trials (resuscitation and water work). Sunday, December 11.—10, senior and junior resuscitation trials and sixman hand work', 2, senior and junior beltman trials. Saturday, December 17.—2, senior and junior beltman trials ; 3, senior and junior surf race. Sunday, December IS.—lO, junior six-man trials; 2, senior six-man trials; 3, senior and junior surf race. All members who hope to obtain selection iu the championship teams must

attend at least 75 per cent, of the trials. Should weather conditions be unsuitable for outside training, resuscitation practice will be carried out in the club rooms. Week-night training will be carried out each week as follows:—Monday, seniors; Wednesday and Thursday, seniors and juniors. The first practice will be held next Monday at 6.30.
