The head office of the Sulphide Corporation advises that the annual meeting of the corporation is to be held on December 13. The directors will recommend at the meeting that a dividend of Is a share on preference shares be paid on December 22, subject to income tax. The rate of the income tax relief on the shares will be advisejl when it is determined. The transfer books in respect of preference shares are to be closed from November 28 to December 16, both days being inclusive. BULOLO GOLD DREDGING RETURN. Bulolo Gold Dredging Ltd. advises that for October the total gross production amounted to 19,5470 z of bullion, containing 13,4870 z of fine gold, from 1,260,000 cubic yards. The estimated working profit was 8,8220 z of fine gold. This production is equivalent to £llß,011, and the working profit to £77,192 on the basis of £8 16s (Australian price) per fine ounce of gold.
