UNUSUAL PLANT.—Thriving in the garden of a Macandrew Bay resident, this Echium Fastuosum has attained an enormous size. A native of the Canary Islands, it rarely grows in colder climates, and is normally 2ft to 4ft in height. This specimen is approximately 14ft high. Of unusual appearance, the plant is now in full bloom, its tall spike being covered with minute blooms about the size and hue of forget-me-nots.
