PREPARING FOR HILLSIDE EXTENSION.—A start has been made on the work of demolishing the houses which face the Hillside Railway Workshops across M'Glashan street. A new building is to be erected on the site of these houses to" provide accommodation for the stores branch. A house has been removed on the right of the picture, while the interiors are at present being removed from the reremainder.
