(Received November 23, at 8 a.m.) Field-Marshal Sir William Birdwood is still suffering from his leg complaint. He received exceptional honours upon his arrival from Ankara to attend the funeral of Kemal Ataturk. General Ineunu, in a message to the nation, paid a tribute to Kemal Atatnrk’s work. _ After _ gaming the greatest victories, he said, Ataturk reestablished the rights of Turkey, which he also made the most advanced and modern State. “I greet asi a good omen to humanity the respect the worm has paid since Atatuhk’s death, - he concluded.
