DESOLATION OF COAL CREEK FLAT.-The extensivedamage resulting from the disastrous cloudburst in the Roxburgh district on Tuesday evening, is graphically portrayed by this picture of Messrs M'Phail Bros.' property. Part of the orchard on the right has been swept away by the deluge, while thelift foregrund, formerly a house paddock, is now covered with boulders and silt to a depth of 14ft. The eaves of the hut in the middle background are now only 2ft from the ground; they were 12ft before the debris washing round created a new ground level.
