Orr Walker, S.M., suggested that the cobbler, Clifford Nelson Double, should in future “ stick to his last.” Double, who issued circulars advertising the preparation under the name of “ Reno Valetta,” of the “ Salon of Reauty,” was charged last Friday in the Police Court on two summons in formations with obtaining 2s Cd from two Remnera women by falsely repre smiting that on receipt of money be would forward a certain Viennese beauty preparation. Ho was fined £5.
