FAST SCORING
There was some fast scoring at Port Chalmers last Saturday, when the local second grade team knocked up 233_ in 90 minutes, the first hundred coming in 27 minutes. R. Carter’s 109 in 40 minutes included only seven singles and one 2; most of his scoring strokes were 6’s and 4’s. This is good going indeed.
