MOTOR PARKING SIGNS.
TO THE EDITOR Sir, —The attention of my executive has been drawn to a letter under the above heading published in last evening’s 1 Star.’ in which it was stated that the A*.A. bad shown no regard for the welfare of the motorist with regard to parking signs. It should be noted in the first place that it would be an impossibility for the Press to publish all the activities of the association; but had “ N.8.G.” taken the trouble to peruse Press reports of recent executive meetings he would have noted that the A.A., Otago, had taken action with regard to parking and traffic conditions generally, and P.N.P. signs in particular, both those few which had already been erected and those which it is earnestly hoped will be erected in the near future. If “ N.B.G ” is a member of the association lie should know that he is at liberty to obtain, and will receive, from the undersigned, any information he may desire regarding traffic conditions, parking, etc., and just what the association is doing to help clear up existing conditions. —1 am, etc., P. F. Harre, Secretary the Automobile Association Otago. October 28.
