FISHER V. JEHKIH After negotiations Dunedin has succeeded in obtaining the services of Norm. Fisher, of Christchurch, in his first professional contest. Fisher is New Zealand’s Olympic Games representative, and has been in groat demand. The Otago Association has offered him the largest purse of any association to secure his services in his New Zealand debut. He is a torrid fighter, who is considered the most promising man to take the ring under the silver fern. His opponent. Norman Jenkin, is already well known to Dunedin fans. He is a hard-hitting, clean
fighter who has a great record , both as an amateur and as a professional. Both Moulin, of Christchurch, and Eddington, of Timaru, have been defeated by him, and a victory over Fisher will put him well on the road to fistic fame. The return match between Caltaux and Foster will be received with satisfaction in all quarters This should be the finest contest of the year There will be no increase in prices, and the bos plan is now open at Jacobs s.
