For the first time in medical history, a woman, aged 17 who is Buffering from infantile paralysis, gave birth to a baby girl inside a respirator, the socalled “ iron lung,” at an isolation 3 ' physic! ans reported that the mother is doing well and the child has a fair chance of surviving. DEATH OF BABY. TORONTO, October 20. (Received October 21, at 11 a.m.) The iron lung baby has died, but the mother is expected to live.
