BUDGE TURNS PROFESSIONAL
YEAR'S CONTRACT SIGNED SALT LAKE CITY, October 20. Mr Dave Freed, secretary of the Inermountain Lawn Tennis Association, leclared that Budge several weeks ago signed a year’s contract as a professional for 50,000 dollars. Mr Freed termed the dispute with Mr Jack Harris as merely a publicity stunt. He thought von Gramm would tour with Budge if he obtained permission to leave Germany.
