DELIVERED IN RECORD TIME

MAIL FROM LONDON [Pee United Press Association.] AUCKLAND, October 21. Tbo mail posted in London on October 9 was delivered at Auckland today, which is a record. The Imperial Airways flying boat left England on October 10 and landed at Sydney on Tuesday last. Leaving Sydney wharf at 6.6 p.m., the Awatea stopped off Rose Bay on her way down the harbour, and two launches, with the mail, came to her side. Forty-three bags were shipped by the Awatea, which made the journey to Auckland in about 60 hours.
