DUNEDIN NORTH SCHOOL
PARENTS’ ASSOCIATION A general meeting of the Dunedin North Intermediate School Parents’ Association was held on Monday evening under the chairmanship of Mr E. F. Lee, the newlj'-elected president. Mr Lee referred to the objects of the association, and for the information of new members recounted these objects, which are “to establish a bond of union between the committee, the teaching staff, and the pupils, and to provide the means whereby parents and others interested shall be able to assist the school in such practical manner as shall seem fitting.” It was evident from the representative attendance, said Mr Lee, that the association was determined to carry out its purpose, and he was looking forward to a pleasant term of office. Executive and social committees were appointed for the coming year, and details of coming activities were discussed. During the evening the principal (Mr Sproatl spoke of the great assistance lie had received from the association, and expressed the hope that it would thrive and grow stronger with the years.
